What is DailyPlan

DailyPlan is a new collaborative planning system designed specifically for people who live or work in a supported or independent living scenario. This product will take care of the daily organising and administration of the planning of activities and important events, such as healthcare appointments and arrangements, staff rostering and availability and recording of day to day information. An important focus of this system is the involvement of the person being supported, allowing them to provide feedback on events as they see it and feel about the events.

Our core technical focus is based around integrity and security, ensuring that all personal information is only available to the people who need and have the right to access it. Apart from the planning of activities, healthcare appointments, meetings and so on, DailyPlan also keeps track of risk assessments and care plans, taking a person centred approach to planning (PCP).

We understand that people who work in social care, directly supporting people, want to focus on providing the care, not doing paperwork and having to use a computer. Unfortunately this is unavoidable, but we aim to reduce that burden and provide a system that is as easy to use as it is humanly possible to provide. With this in mind, we take a different approach from most providers of online systems. We prefer function over form, meaning that the system working and being easily usable, takes priority over how appealing it looks. We do intend to provide a more visually rich version to cater for those who sway towards the visuals, but this is not our priority.

If you are involved in social care, independent living, supported living or any kind of self directed scenario, either as somebody being supported or as part of a support team and you are interested in using our services or would like more information, please feel free to contact us.

We also have a facebook page and a twitter feed.
